The City of Fort Myers Purchasing Department is responsible for purchasing supplies, materials, and services for all city departments in accordance to state statute, city ordinances, and proper purchasing procedures.
This department also supervises property / inventory control which not only tracks all assets of the city, but is also responsible for the disposition of surplus and obsolete city property.
