Utility Services

The City of Fort Myers Utility Accounting Department is open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Services provided are water, sewer, and trash collection where available. To open a new account you must apply in person at 2200 Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida. The Utility Accounting Department is located on the first floor.

RESIDENTIAL ACCOUNTS REQUIRE:

• Completion of an application.
• Photo Identification - Driver's License.
• Payment of $105 deposit for water, sewer and trash services.
• Payment of $15 service charge.

COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTS REQUIRE:

• Completion of an application.
• Copy of occupational license application.
• Photo Identification - Driver's License
• Payment of deposit - 2.3 times the anticipated monthly billing for services provided or a minimum of $165 for water, sewer and trash services.
• Payment of $15 service charge.
