Team Care While our practice consists of four surgeons, all of whom are board certified and Fellows of the American College of Surgery, you are able to select the physician of your choice. However, Surgical Associates of Southwest Florida practices as a team. We believe this approach offers patients the best care possible. Team care means you will have one physician who will provide you with surgical care, but each physician will be able to care for each other's patients when emergencies arise. We do this to insure every patient receives quality treatment in case one of our physicians is away or unavailable.
