I'm a Visiting Assistant Professor (this semester) in the Department
of Astronomy. In addition to teaching I am also conducting research
in the fields of nuclear astrophysics and computational astrophysics.
I am currently working on a number problems:
the explosion mechanism of core collapse supernovae,
the neutrino signature & gravitational wave signature of
supernovae, general relativistic radiation hydrodynamics,
and the equation of state of hot, dense matter.
