The Culinary & Commercial Foods class went on various field trips, all very exciting. One such outing was to a fish farm in Charlotte County. The class also attended the VICA food competitions as well as a clam bake on Loften Island in the Caloosahatchee River. The class worked as team to prepare meals without pot or pans on Loften Island.

The class as a whole worked to prepare the Business P.M. Dinner. The event was a huge success, as approximately 600 people in the business community attended the networking opportunity.

The students are currently working on a herb garden so they will be supplied with the best products possible.

Some students in the class have received special recognition for their accomplishments. For example, Lorrin Cutter speaks for the class in saying "this is a great school and that the administrators and staff are excellent leaders and caring people. We all have enjoyed being here. I personally have learned a lot being here and feel very confident about the new abilities I have
