Sen. Daniel Moynihan (D-New York) has been the chief Cassandra in the U.S. Senate on the y2k problem. He has introduced a bill to deal with the problem: S. 22 (Jan. 21, 1997). It states the case for fear and trembling quite well. We are facing a monumental crisis. Among politicians, worldwide, Moynihan has stated the problem most forcefully.
