The central bank of Japan published a comprehensive list of things banks should be doing. It sent this list to banks on August 19, 1997. This was very late in the game. Citicorp and Chase Manhattan found out about y2k in 1995, which was also late in the game for a problem that has existed for a generation.
This list would be good for any bank or large organization.
It is also a good guide for bank regulators. A lot must be done by the banks. Soon.
