Montecatini rests in the center of a wonderful valley of olive trees and flowers, in a more barycentric position compared to the other Tuscan towns, is known as an oasis of peace and quiet in one of the most charming settings of Tuscany. The origins of Montecatini, a rare example of thermal town planning, are linked to Pietro Leopolda initiative in 1765 which promoted the modernization of the installations that had been already using the mineral water since the XV century.
