From the Desk of our President
Dear Friend,
The LEE COUNTY HOTEL MOTEL ASSOCIATION (LCHMA) would like you to be our guest for dinner at our next general membership meeting. This is our way of letting you know who we are and what we do. In return, we hope you will want to be a part of our family.
LCHMA is an association dedicated to the betterment of our industry. Our members come from small properties as well as big ones, inland as well as the beaches. We're hotels, motels and allied businesses. Some of us are owned by large corporations. Others are individually owned. But, we all have one thing in common. We are all looking for more and better ways to put "heads in beds".
So we come toghether as one to share ideas and experiences; to work togehter, to socialize together and, when needed, to protect one another.
We have committees whose members give of their time and energy toward objectives that we feel will strengthen our industry. We work closely with other organizations like the Visitor and Convention Bureau, the Sports Organizing Committee and the Conference and Convention Council in trying to attract quests to our area. We monitor local activities and events that have a bearing on our future. Most of all, we benefit personally and professionally, just by knowing one another.
Our members know that the success of one leads to the success of us all. We share a common belief that, while each of us may be different in size, location and style, we all share common goals and those are best achieved by the STRENGHT OF OUR MEMBERS.
W e would be honored to count you among us.
Sincerely,
Harry Rodda
President
