Dear Member:
1997 is already under way and, for THE LEE COUNTY HOTEL MOTEL ASSOCIATION, it promises to be an exciting year. Our goals for 1997 revolve around growth. Simply put, LCHMA has grown to become an important voice in matters pertaining to our industry. But, we have yet to reach our real potential. The only way that we can reach that potential is through new membership and, most of all, ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP of people like you.
The Board of Directors knows that, for you to participate, LCHMA needs to be a viable tool for your success. Therefore, in '97, we are taking giant steps toward making LCHMA just that tool. For example:
> Our meetings will feature speakers and programs that are designed to keep you on top of "what's happening" in our industry; hot trends, timely topics, new INNovations, etc. > We will be publishing a monthly newsletter to better keep you abreats on what's going on.> Our committees are active in developing insight and information that will directly benefit you, including monitoring TDC, Airport Advisory Board and County Commission meetings.
> We continue our activities in support of education in our industry including sponsorship of the award winning "Educate the Educators" program.
In short, we're actively working to make LCHMA better and better in its service to you. But, we need your activity, too. Thus ,on behalf of the Board, I invite you to renew for '97....both your membership and your involvement. Help your association in its efforts to grow and improve, keeping in mind our motto for the year........THERE'S STRENGHT IN NUMBERS. Our strenght depends on you.
