May 20, 2003 Dear Valued CyberStreet Subscriber: Last week Edison Telephone, who provides our Internet connectivity, experienced a severe technical malfunction. This has resulted in an interruption in many of our services and has most likely impacted you. Despite repeated attempts on our part to communicate the necessity to rectify this situation, Edison Telephone was unable to resolve these problems in a timely fashion. Thus, we have had no recourse other than to secure services through another upstream provider. Edison Telephone has since restored service and both our old and new phone numbers function at this time. We have been informed that Edison Telephone will be comming under new ownership. We are uncertain as to the future of Edison Telephone. We have therefore secured a new high speed, fiber optic connection and phone services from another local phone company (T3 Communications). We have also setup a new nationwide dial-in service in order to provide continued service to all of the areas we now service and beyond. This also means that you may now keep your service with us even while traveling or on vacation. We do intend to keep many of our services with Edison Telephone if they are able to continue providing them as they have provided an excellent service in the past. Those dailup customers not switching to using the new dialup will need to do so should the old Edison Telephone services cease to function. We will post updates on our web site as we learn them. For the time being both the old Edison Telephone services and the new services are functional. All of our servers have been moved to a new Internet connection and will not be affected by any further Edison Telephone outages. We should also shortly be configuring both of our Internet connections into a multihomed Internet connection comprising both carriers so that an outage of any one carrier will have little effect. If you are using the old telephone numbers and they cease to work, simply follow the instructions provided on the second page of this letter. Thank your for your understanding and patience in this matter. Sincerely, CyberStreet, Inc.
