The FL Hwy 70 Bridge
Outside of Arcadia
The
gentle Peace River flows underneath this FL Hwy 70 Bridge just outside
of Arcadia, Florida. Arcadia is 50miles due east of Sarasota/ Bradenton
in South central Florida. Arcadia is the home of the Florida All Champion
Ship Rodeo held twice each year. The bridge was closed to traffic in the
mid 1980s because of structural damage. Storm clouds can swirl at any time
of the year in this area. This was taken in late fall as a cold front approached
from the north.
