Woodhaven Finn MacCool, CD CGC TDI Time really flies and here I am celebrating my very first Birthday. See, told you I wasn't little anymore! I'm big enough now to jump up on the dresser by myself and look things over! I told Mom I really wasn't going to take anything, I just wanted to look at myself in the mirror. Somehow she didn't buy it and was none to pleased with my jumping! Now that I know I can make it up on the dresser.... that kitchen counter sure looks like a charm! Even though I'm pretty big now, I still am a real smooch. I still sit on Mom's lap, and sleep on the bed on her pillow. I haven't changed much, just get more handsome by the day! He he... I'm not conceited ! I really do behave most of the time. I like to lay around and watch Mom cook dinner. Never know when she might drop something! In February we went to the Lee County Fair for a week and did Obedience Demos. It was fun showing off and letting people see how much fun dogs can have. I did some Agility stuff too and I thought that was so neat. Got in trouble again jumping... well I wanted to do the Agility and jumped the ring gate before Mom could get me. Whew was it fun! They had a window jump, tunnel, jumps and all that jazz. I put on a good show, the audience thought it was so neat when I jumped over the fence just to get in the ring! Finally got my picture back from the show when I got my CD. My nutty Mom just had to make sure she had another picture of me! Oh well, guess that's what happens when you do something right and your Mom is just busting with pride. The good part is that now I have even more fun training. I get to do retrieves, love those articles and am learning some silly thing called "go outs". I love going to school, especially seeing all my friends! I've been going to school twice a week, practicing some new stuff and in general getting ready to someday do a CDX. Playing with bumpers a lot too! I've decided they are pretty neat and I like retrieving them. Just to spice up my life, I get to swim every couple of days. The water here in Florida never gets to cold for me!
