Woodhaven Finn MacCool, CGC TDI Hi everybody, here I am on my 9th month birthday. Mom thinks I'm pretty and I keep telling her that since I'm all male, I should be called handsome. Ah well, you know how Mom's are! Well just in case there's any doubt, here's the proof! I finally got so sick of getting my front feet wet, I decided there had to be a better way. So in the last two weeks I've learned to sniff the flowers and give them a drink too! Now isn't that just what you always wanted to see! At least I don't fall over and I've learned good balance! You know it really isn't easy what they expect from boys. They want you to be manly & hike that leg, but then when you do they complain about all the plants your going to ruin! You just can't win! For my birthday this month I went down to a park at the river. They weren't fooling me, it wasn't just for my day. I overheard them talking about having to do an Obedience demonstration at a Fair there next month. So I got to go check out the park. It's on the Caloosahatchee River, which divides Cape Coral & Fort Myers. Didn't mind sitting in that nice soft spot so Mom could take my picture, but the next spot was a little insulting. "Finn sit there in front of that tree". Yea sure, ever sit on a bunch of pine needles. Really that is not the nicest place to sit! So I made the sit darn short & said a stand would have to do! Neat trees! Wow, you should have seen the birds walking around. There were pigeons, I did my best to catch. Sure would have liked to, but the smart things took off and ruined my fun. I did find myself a coconut that I brought home with me. Truth is, I wasn't giving it up, so they had to let me bring it home! That was my trip to the park. It's going to be a really neat place to do Obedience long as they don't sit me on more of those pine needles! Here's a few more pictures of me with my favorite toy and one of my favorites greeting my sister when she comes to visit me. I don't jump up on her, I plain downright sit in her lap and insist on a big hug!! Click on the icons to see full size pictures. You'all come back next month and see what I'm up to............
