Island Rover

Fresh air and starry nights abound from the decks of one of the largest traditional sailing vessels on the Gulf of Mexico. Join us on board the Island Rover for the sunset sail, and an adventurous overnight cruise. We anchor behind Sanibel Island or an uninhabited out-island depending upon the wind direction. There are accommodations for 8 guests in 4 private staterooms which are rustic and fitting of a mid-1800's style pirate ship. The cabins are bright, clean comfortable and supplied with fresh linens, towels and warm blankets. There's plenty of room for a good night's sleep or if you'd rather (and the weather's appropriate) you may bring a sleeping bag and pad for sleeping on deck under the stars. The ship toilet facilities are in the same area as your cabin and shared with others. Our larger cabin has its own restroom and shower. Mornings are a special time, with spectacular sunrises. Wake up to a fresh cup of coffee topside while the preparation of a continential breakfast is in its final stages...

BED & BREAKFAST RESERVATIONS

The Bed & Breakfast is offered as a package which includes a sunset sail, all night fishing, shelling, sunbathing and breakfast. On occasion the ship sails all night or we anchor in the Gulf of Mexico. Bed and Breakfast guests are more than welcome to sail on any daily cruise. Reservations are recommended.

A prepayment in full ($149.00) is required to guarantee the reservation: 48-hour cancellation notice for refund. All rooms are double occupancy and include the sunset sail for two, a $ 50.00 value.
