Hi folks! Greetings from Scott Holcomb in THE WAVE Newsroom. I'm taking a moment from my cluttered newsdesk for a breath of air and an explanation on where THE WAVE gets it's news. With such printed sources as; The Sun Herald and The Englewood AM. The crack news hounds on staff are always ready for the 'Big Scoop'. (I prefer chocolate.) Our prime source for national headlines is ABC news which can be heard every hour on the hour from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. THE WAVE covers state news with the help of The Florida News Network. News heard at 30 minutes after the hour. The news triad is complete with our local news coverage. 2 minutes in length and done by myself, this is heard approximately at 8:15am on our highly rated morning show, "The Breakfast Club," Monday through Friday mornings. Those of you who are stock and business news watchers will find the A.G. Edwards Stock report and ABC news business report of interest heard daily at 5:05pm. Enough said.
