WEATHER WENG 1530AM has placed itself into the 21st century by installing a state of the art weather computer.  Satellite maps, nationally and locally, are updated every 10 minutes.  THE WAVE is linked to the national and state NOAA.  Listeners can rest comfortably knowing in the event of a weather emergency, WENG will be there to keep you informed.  THE WAVE is also prepared to give 24 hour hurricane coverage, should one be headed our way.  If you’re interested in weather facts and information, THE WAVE has a 30 second weather update 5 minutes after every hour , dawn to dusk.  The weather minute with meteorologist, Frank Cariello, “An entertaining look at mother nature”, can be heard at 5:05pm, Monday through Friday.
