This letter by Prof. Leon Kappelman warns the Nuclear Regulatory Commission of y2k problems. He is a professor of business computer science at the Universirty of North Texas, Denton.
The questions are: Will the NRC act to get the plants to comply? If not, will the NRC shut them down in late December of 1999? If so, can the nation's power grid system stay up? Or will it overload? The lives of tens of millions of Americans may depend on the NRC's response.
